Born from a Mission to Create a "Hello Vegan!" Society
Founder Shu Kudo started a vegan lifestyle in 2016 as a high school student, driven by animal ethics and environmental concerns. At that time, vegan options in Japan were scarce, making daily life a challenge.
In 2020, he founded the company with a clear mission: to create a society where everyone can choose to be vegan. The journey began with recipe services, online stores, and frozen bentos during the pandemic.
In 2023, after meeting over 100 vegan travelers across Japan who struggled to find authentic cuisine, Vegan Sushi Tokyo was born, a place where no one has to compromise between culture and compassion.
